Richard Carreño

Richard Carreño, a resident of Center City, Philadelphia, is a writer, bookseller, and publisher, and a former a lecturer of American literature and English composition at several universities in the United Kingdom and in the United States.
 
He is editor of The Philadelphia Junto and a partner in the on-line bookshop, Philabooks|Boooksellers and in its publishing subsidiary Philabooks|Press. As a critic, Carreño specializes in art, architectural, and cultural reporting. He is the author of several books, including Museum Mile: Philadelphia's Parkway Museums, Lord of Hosts: The Life of Sir Henry 'Chips' Channon; and Clotheshorse: A History and Guide to Riding Apparel.
